Suitable for climbing and alpine environments
The footwear features Vibram® MegaGrip™ outsole which provides superior grip on wet and dry surfaces. It’s well-suitable for trekking, travel, hiking, multisport activities, and fly fishing.
Excellent traction
Since Vibram rubber is moldable, it makes a good material for varying outsole shapes and patterns. Meanwhile, the aggressive lug geometry gives the shoe strong traction.
Provides long-wearing cushion and support

Provides long-wearing cushion and support
This premium trekking shoe from Arc'teryx uses an injected EVA midsole that provides a long-wearing cushion and support. Unlike traditional expansion midsoles, injected EVA midsoles are thinner (up to half the size of traditional midsoles). This makes Acrux boots really lightweight for its class.
Furthermore, injected EVA midsoles are softer and have an increased bounce to them. Although they tend to crease quicker after some time of use.
Keeps the feet fresh and cool
Its 4mm OrthoLite™ 3D molded insert gives added support and comfort. The unique open-cell structure of Ortholite insoles keeps moisture away from the foot, leaving it fresher, drier, and cooler.
Provides long-wearing cushion and support
Arc'teryx Acrux TR GTX has an upper made from SuperFabric® that is abrasion-resistant, breathable, quick-drying, and water-resistant. This special type of fabric is constructed by infusing tiny, hard guard plates into the fabric, also called “micro-plated technology”. SuperFabric® is also super light, which completes the overall lightweight construction of Acrux TR GTX.
Waterproof
The boot also features a GORE-tex lining that is completely waterproof. Thus, hikers can walk on muddy paths, and even hop on running water without worrying about their feet getting wet. Furthermore, it comes with an integrated sticky rubber toe cap, giving added protection, and a TPU chassis at the midfoot and forefoot, providing both better stability and torsional rigidity.
