Nike's is Fresher On-Foot SE celebrates vintage sportswear
If Converse has its Chucks as its All Star icon, it’s the hardcourt-born Dunk for Nike. This shoe from the mid-'80s has embraced generations of Swoosh fans, from basketballers to sneakerheads who can’t depart from its old-meets-new concept.
What makes the Dunk High SE stand out among other retro remakes is its ode to the historic Nike Swoosh logo. Any Nike diehard know by heart that Carolyn Davidson is responsible for creating the Swoosh. And in commemoration of its 50th anniversary, this shoe showcases the exact date the said logo was first used.
