We believe that traction is this basketball shoe's best feature. Its sole features a mix of herringbone and radial patterns which works perfectly on different types of surfaces, both indoors and outdoors.
We should also warn you that the outsole tends to pick up dust, but it's not something that occasional quick wipes cannot fix.
Durability: Definitely a risk!
Acquisition first, the outsole feels like it is made of one of the harder rubbers out there.
However, playtesting the shoe on an outdoor court, the wear began to appear much quicker than we expected. This is going to be an issue especially if your play style involves lots of toe drag and heavy footwork.

Fortunately, having less cushioning in the forefoot is not always a bad thing. We felt that this area actually has plenty of court feel and responsiveness. Because of this, the shoe is much more suitable for lighter players who move a lot and like to feel the ground well.

The upper is made of a soft and comfortable mesh material that doesn't really require break-in time. We felt that it conformed to our foot extremely well which was a nice surprise considering the price.
Because of how soft and comfortable the upper is, we think that this shoe can actually be worn casually at work or in school.
...but less supportive
However, comfort comes with a price in this case. Because of the softness of the material, the upper also felt too forgiving, detracting from our confidence in quick turns.

Fortunately, the soft upper is not left on its own to deliver support and stability. The shoe has a wide base, lace cables, and a dependable heel counter. We believe that these features help to compensate for the forgiving upper.

We were really happy to find that this Nike shoe offers super smooth heel-to-toe transitions due to the well-placed curvatures on both its front and rear ends.
While Nike Renew foam is not really the bounciest material out there, we think that this shoe gets its snappiness from the shank that has been inserted in the midfoot area.
Hands off, wide-footers!
We think that wide-footed players will be better off going half a size up because the shoe's midfoot area fits a bit tight, eve for our medium-width feet.
