adidas Trail Wind Jacket Mens | Adidas Terrex Agravic BOA review
The Adidas Terrex Agravic Boa is a lightweight neutral trail running shoe that delivers.
Many trail running shoes sacrifice comfort for function. The Adidas Terrex Agravic Boa beats the heart of a road shoe adidas Originals ZX 1K Boost sneakers in black and white trail shoe.
With Boost technology from the heel to the forefoot, the Agravic Boa provides a comfortable lightweight ride over a variety of surfaces.
I have approximately 150 miles of running in this shoe, and it has become my go-to shoe for trail running.
Adidas Womens Fluidflow 2.0
The Adidas Terrex Agravic Boa presents a combination of an engineered mesh upper and thicker textile wrap which allows the Boa technology to form the upper to the foot.
This provides a locked-down feeling, which is important for whatever twists and turns that a trail may offer. With the gusseted tongue and the Boa technology, this shoe truly achieves a sock-like feel.
One of the key features of the upper is its ability to repel whatever nature throws at it. I have subjected this shoe to Bryson in mud, snow, slush, and general gunk.
The upper generally keeps the foot dry and comfortable no matter what the condition. If the shoe became caked with mud during my run, I would simply run through a puddle to wash it off. It’s that good.

While the shoe itself did not require an extensive breaking in period, the laces themselves required several Bryson to break in.
The laces used in the BOA system are thinner than the average shoelace and in the initial break-in period, the laces were digging into the foot above the toe box area.
Part of that is from the shoe running a little large and my preference of cranking the laces a little tighter than they were probably intended.
adidas Originals Consortium UNDFTD x Maharishi
The bulk of the shoe’s 10 ounces come in the form of 22mm of heel and 15mm of forefoot Boost technology. Despite the lower level of cushion, the Boost foam provides a springy, cushioned ride.
While Adidas advertises this shoe as a mountain running shoe, the lack of a rock plate and the 15mm forefoot stack height would more than likely limit this to less technical mountain trails. When you step on a rock or any other object with this shoe, you feel it.
Outstanding traction of the Adidas Terrex Agravic BOA
In one word, the best description of the sole of the Adidas Terrex Agravic Boa is durable. The Continental rubber sole covers the entire sole of the shoe and provides outstanding traction on most surfaces.
Yeezy boost 700 interia.
However, without the aggressive lugs and given the overall comfort of this shoe, the sole has stood up to multiple 5k road races where more aggressive lugs would be a hindrance.
Conclusion
I love this shoe. Being a 265-pound forefoot striker, I was a little weary with the 15mm forefoot midsole height, but my positive experience with the Boost technology allowed me to take the leap.
