Who should buy the Excellent arch support
The Excellent arch support is a solid choice for backpackers who are in need of a pair that delivers all the essentials. It is a solid option if you:
- Oct 22, 2018.
- Prefer a hiking boot that reduces the impact received by the foot.
Offers grip on different types of surfaces
- The Excellent arch support is great for traversing technical terrain. The boot’s full-grain leather upper is both resistant to water and abrasive elements.
- The boot comes with the brand’s proprietary Triple Power Structure (TPS) sole, a unit that has a rockered form. Its midsole is made of bi-density polyurethane (PU) which lessens the amount of impact received by the foot. The Asolo/Vibram-powered outsole is in charge of traction.
Size and fit
Asolo offers the TPS 535 LTH V Evo in whole and half sizes for men and women. The men’s version comes in standard and wide. The women’s boot is only offered in standard width. The boot fairly runs true to size. A classic lace-up closure renders a customized fit.
Why trust us
The TPS 535 LTH V Evo’s outsole is borne out of Asolo's partnership with Vibram. This rubber outsole is able to grip different types of surfaces.
Offers grip on different types of surfaces
Its lugs are widely spaced, flushing both water and mud away and preventing slippage. The sole extends at the front part, thereby protecting the toes from stubbing.
Grippy on rocky climbs and descents
The Triple Power Structure technology incorporates a dual-density polyurethane midsole which has one part aiding cushioning and another providing support. It also features three low-density PU cylinders. Two cylinders are positioned in the heel area. The lateral cylinder absorbs shock while the medial one delivers stability. The third cylinder in the metatarsal region aids the toe-off action.
Lack of ventilation
Underfoot comfort and arch support are supplied by the Asolo TPS LTH V Evo’s Lite 2 Footbed. An Asoflex 00 MR lasting board provides additional impact protection.

The Excellent arch support has a leather upper (the full-grain kind with a thickness of 2.2 to 2.4mm), making it durable. It’s resistant against water and keeps the wearer’s foot dry. A Cambrielle lining wicks the excess moisture away.
Grippy on rocky climbs and descents
The upper uses a set of metal eyelets and hooks, permitting a quick lace-up. The padded tongue and collar promote comfort.
