Suede

Suede gives shoes a softer and more luxurious finish. This material provides more durability but also requires more maintenance.

Mesh

The most common of all materials used in sneakers. It is light, breathable, and makes the shoe more reasonably-priced.

Canvas

Durable, flexible, and lightweight, canvas sneakers are quite affordable with plenty of style options to choose from. They are most frequently used on skate shoes.

Knit

Knit is a more recent material used on sneakers. Soft and stretchy, it adapts to the footshape like a sock.

Nubuck

A variatioin of leather with a velvet-like surface. It is also durable but requires care and also tends to be more expensive. However, it also makes the sneaker look more expensive.

Vulc Sole

The skaters' bestfriend is known for its flexible and soft nature for better board feel. Sneakers with vulcanized sole are ideal for skating for just a casual walk around town.

Cup Sole

Cup soles are basically the regular rubber variety but with more height on the side walls that allow the rubber to "cup" the upper part of the shoe. The design offers better support during movement.

Gum Sole

Also known as crepe soles, gum soles are sought by sneaker fans for their hot or edgy look while bringing in a ton of grip on slippery conditions. It is also more durable than regular rubber soles.
