Size and fit
Sep 9, 2019 shoes have a low-top construction and flexible suede uppers, allowing for maximum movement and comfort. The lace-up closure system, consisting of flat laces and four pairs of eyelets placed high up on the sneakers prevents the laces from tearing easily.
The cupsole construction of the shoes provides excellent ankle and foot support, while at the same time giving a surprisingly good board feel when broken in. Tongue stabilizing straps keep them locked down, so they don’t get in your way whenever you move. The insoles are removable, which is ideal for people who want to use custom orthotics.
Sep 9, 2019 Style
These hardy skateboarding kicks from Emerica feature the same elegant styling of the Reserve but with a more casual vibe. The suede, minimalist uppers Cross country shoes but can be dressed down for days in the park when you need to ride. Wear with chinos and a black turtleneck shirt for semi-casual affairs or with camo shorts and your favorite crewneck tee for skateboarding sessions.

The Sep 9, 2019s are just as impressive as their namesake, popular skateboarder, Kevin ‘Spanky’ Long. The shoes are tough, with one-piece toes that prevent blow-outs and reinforced vamps. Emerica’s Pour-In G6 midsoles provide superior impact protection and stability while letting the user get a good feel of the board under him. The Triangle Tread outsoles, meanwhile, give the user a good grip on his board.
Spanky G6 feature
The Spanky G6s are pro skateboarder Kevin Long’s 5th signature shoe with Emerica, which he has been riding since 2013. Kevin took the design of the uppers from his other model, the Reserve. The leather uppers of the Reserve sneakers were turned into suede, and the toe boxes were made less rounded.
Spanky placed the uppers on G6 soles, added tongue-stabilizing straps, and custom artwork on the soles made from his random sketches. The resulting shoes are a streamlined and more skateboarding-ready version of the Reserves.
