In 1966, two Swiss brothers, Ernest, and Art Brunner moved to California and started their own company. They focused on designing tennis shoes that were not only stylish but also comfortable and durable. The brand K-Swiss was coined to be a combination of their Swiss and American heritage. The “K” meant Kalifornia which was slang for the state in the 60s.
Their first creation was the Tragic, an all-leather tennis shoe that is based on ski-boot binding. In 1990, the company went public and was also deemed “Company of the Year” by Footwear News magazine. The following year, they opened distribution in Europe and UK. Fast forward to 2005, K-Swiss gained over $500 million in global sales.
To this day, the company has been producing classic tennis shoes that fit any lifestyle for all generations. And one of that is the K-Swiss Aero Trainer T which takes athleisure to the next level. It is perfect on and off the courts which delivers comfort, function, and style. The shoe is set to be a favorite everyday K-Swiss sneaker for different generations.
