Spreading like wildfire in 1999, the low-top Osiris D3 was initially designed by one of the Osiris founders in the name of Brian Reid. Sometime later, Reid, together with Tony Magnusson—another Osiris founder and a legendary skateboarder—released the updated version in 2001 and named it D3 2001.

Reid and Magnusson created and designed the boldest and most technical skate shoe yet. They used modern reflective materials, advanced airbag technology, and premium materials. Since its inception, the D3 2001 was released in more colors and materials than you can imagine.

In the years that the D3 2001 went on a hiatus, Osiris released this iconic skate shoe as a result of much pressure from the public, who wanted to bring the beloved D3 2001 back in 2011. Later, it was re-released in 2016. In fact, it has been hailed as one of the best-selling skate shoes of all time.
