Lightweight cushioning
For the midsole, this boot uses EVA - a lightweight foam that provides admirable shock absorbency, cushioning quality, and flexibility. EVA stands for ethylene-vinyl acetate. It is softer than rubber which is why it is more flexible. It also doesn't conduct as much heat that's why it makes an ideal midsole for winter boots.
