Style of the nbsp; |
With its laidback and versatile style, the Baja Slip-On appeals to consumers who love fuss-free looks or are always on the go and do not have the time to think about their outfit. Either way, this shoe’s classic design transcends fast-paced fashion trends and could easily match almost every ensemble.
The guys can pair this simple shoe with shorts and a linen top for a trip to the beach or opt for cropped chino trousers, a button-down tee, and a bucket hat for that trendy dad-inspired outfit. Meanwhile, ladies are presented with more variety as they can rock it with dresses, skirts, shorts, or pants.
Notable Features
Apart from the Baja Slip-On’s vegan-friendly materials it also features Ortholite insoles for excellent comfort and cushioning. Vulcanized outsoles make for light fit and flexibility while twin elastic gores provide a comfortable snug fit.
History of the nbsp; |
Hailing from Playa Del Ray in California, founder Blake Mycoskie established TOMS footwear in 2006 after a trip from Argentina. From there he found out about alpargatas, a canvas slip-on shoe used by local polo players. Mycoskie brought the idea of the alpargatas back to the States and used it as the prototype for TOMS’ first shoe designs.
Today, the brand is so successful that its product line grew from only footwear to now including apparel, bags, eyewear, and coffee. But their shoes remain the brand’s most fundamental product.
The nbsp; |   is one of the company’s latest footwear offerings. It is a part of the Topanga collection and crafted from vegan-friendly materials. Although most of this shoe’s colorways are crafted from heritage canvas material, note that materials still vary. The brand has made it easier for consumers by including a specific colorway’s material in its name.
