This prevents the feet from being stable, which allows for some heel-rubbing and movement on each foot-strike. Additionally, there are only 3 pairs of eyelets, which really inhibits a tight-fitting feel.

Size 12 comes in at 14.8 oz/420g. Compared to other running shoes, the Gel Quantum 360 are extremely heavy, which makes one think ASICS never intended anyone to use them as running shoes. No runner I know of would ever consider training in a shoe as heavy as this.

The rubber outsole will undoubtedly provide for long life. Especially since people will probably choose not to run in these shoes, but only wear them occasionally for fashion purposes, the Gel Quantum 360 will go out of style before they actually wear out.

There is a lot of material making up the upper portion of the Gel Quantum 360. The shoes are not very breathable because there is too much going on.

The leather sides that hold the lace eyelets are detached from the rest of the upper portion of the shoes, wrapping the sides of the shoes in leather. This adds weight and prevents the shoes from breathing as much as they could. Clearly, this shoe was designed with style in mind, as opposed to running efficiency.
