Gone are the days when Vans sneakers are fitted with regular insoles. With the introduction of the ComfyCush line, Vans shoes were subjected to a rebirth as the original silhouettes, such as the Authentic, Era, SK8-Hi, and Old Skool, were revamped with one-piece exteriors, foam midsoles, and added arch support.
Compared to the regular Old Skool model, the ComfyCush version now boasts a first-class fit and a cloud-like cushioning system. This kick, however, still features the signature waffle tread pattern on its rubber outsole. That said, some of its sections were removed, which increases its overall flexibility. This redesign also made the shoe even lighter.
